Interior Design Assistant

Graceland Design Studio, a full-service interior design firm located in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Design Assistant who will support our small design team in our downtown office and on job sites around the region. Though largely administrative in nature, this is a hands-on position with the opportunity to participate in the interior design process. We are looking for an independent problem solver with a sense of humor and a desire to learn. We welcome interior design students and those with a passion for the field to apply.

This job is an hourly, part-time, contracted position with a flexible schedule consisting of approximately 20 hours a week

- Pay starts at $30 per hour with paid educational opportunities and other benefits

- Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably in an interior design firm or home business

- Proficiency in Google Docs. Canva and Studio Designer

- Familiarity with Sketch-up or AutoCad software

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team in an office

- Ability to assist with scheduling, procurement and meeting prep

- Must be able to move things

- Valid driver’s license
