Boulevard Urban Living has an immediate opening for part-time and/or full-time Home Furnishings Sales and Interior Design Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual with a strong interest and aptitude for modern and eclectic interior design and custom lighting to join our team in our Scottsdale location.

Boulevard is an exciting furniture and home decor retail showroom with a new location Scottsdale. Our store is located in the Scottsdale Towne Square at Thunderbird and Scottsdale Road. We specialize in modern, eclectic, contemporary, and transitional style home furnishings and decor. Our amazing staff provides unbeatable service by working as a team.

We provide comprehensive training to new employees in order to familiarize them with our approach and extensive lines of products.

Compensation includes base compensation as well as significant individual and team bonus potential. Total compensation will vary depending upon individual performance. All full time employees are eligible for paid vacation and healthcare benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide design services in showroom for furniture & lighting selection including finish, color, customization and style options.
• Work with customers to fully understand needs and preferences.
• Present the Boulevard value proposition to store visitors and engage them in discussion and dialogue as appropriate.
• Generate sales as a result of in-store and in-home consultations.
• Place orders for special order items as necessary and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customer.
• Develop thorough knowledge of all lines in order to act as key resource to customers and other showroom personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

• A background in interior design is strongly preferred
• A passion in working with people to create cutting edge designs
• Excellent client management skills
• Ability to work weekend days
• Professional verbal and written skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
