Interior Design Site Supervisor

An interior design site supervisor manages day-to-day on-site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to design specifications and safety standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, conducting quality checks, managing material deliveries, and preparing daily progress reports for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities (carpentry, MEP, painting, flooring) to ensure compliance with drawings and design specs.
• Site Coordination: Schedule and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure efficient work sequences.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Inspect workmanship and materials upon delivery to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Schedule Management: Monitor progress against the project schedule to prevent delays and meet deadlines.
• Resource & Material Management: Oversee material procurement, inventory, and usage to minimize waste and ensure timely availability.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure all on-site personnel follow health and safety regulations (PPE compliance) and maintain a clean site.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, including progress photos, labor attendance, and material records.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address on-site problems, technical queries, and conflicts promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Usually 3–5 years in interior fit-out or construction site supervision.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret design drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Leadership & Communication: Strong skills in managing teams and communicating with clients, designers, and contractors.
