Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-driven Interior Designer with proven expertise in hospital, hospitality, and food & beverage (F&B) environments. The role will focus on designing patient-centric hospital spaces, guest-oriented hospitality areas, and functional yet branded F&B outlets within healthcare and mixed-use developments.

The designer will be responsible for translating brand identity into interior environments, selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and delivering functional, aesthetically compelling spaces that balance comfort, efficiency, and compliance with healthcare and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

Design Development

• Create and implement interior design concepts for hospital lobbies, patient lounges, waiting areas, F&B outlets, and hospitality spaces.
• Develop color palettes, material finishes, lighting concepts, and branded environments aligned with corporate identity.
• Integrate hospitality-style design principles into hospital spaces to elevate patient, staff, and visitor experiences.

FF&E & Procurement

• Select, specify, and coordinate furniture, fixtures, artwork, signage, and equipment tailored for healthcare and F&B use.
• Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, material boards, and procurement packages.
• Manage vendor relationships, delivery, and installation.

F&B Design Integration

• Collaborate with F&B consultants to plan and design hospital cafés, staff dining, and retail food outlets.
• Ensure F&B interiors are functional, compliant with health and safety standards, and aligned with brand positioning.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, real estate teams, and operations managers to align design with operational needs.
• Participate in design presentations, workshops, and reviews with stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and supervise installation to ensure quality and brand consistency.

Compliance & Innovation

• Ensure all designs meet local building codes, healthcare regulations, and infection control requirements.
• Research and implement sustainable, durable, and innovative materials suitable for high-traffic healthcare and F&B environments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in interior design with exposure to healthcare, hospitality, or F&B projects.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E design, sourcing, and specification.
• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.
• Understanding of hospital and F&B regulatory standards, safety, and hygiene requirements.
• Strong design presentation, visualization, and storytelling skills.
• Excellent project management, vendor coordination, and client communication abilities.
• Experience in hospitality-driven healthcare interiors (wellness centers, hospital lobbies, patient experience zones).
• Prior work in restaurant, café, or food retail design.
• Knowledge of branding integration in interiors and color psychology.
• Familiarity with sustainable design certifications (LEED, WELL, or equivalent)
