Interior Designer

Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Interior Designer who brings both creative flair and hands-on site supervision expertise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record designing and executing interiors for salons and restaurants, ensuring that every detail—from concept to completion—meets aesthetic, functional, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Design Development
o Create innovative interior concepts tailored to salon and restaurant environments.
o Develop mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualizations.
o Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.

• Site Supervision
o Oversee on-site execution to ensure design fidelity and quality control.
o Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to manage timelines and budgets.
o Conduct regular site inspections and resolve design or construction issues promptly.

• Client & Stakeholder Coordination
o Liaise with clients to understand brand identity and operational needs.
o Present design proposals and manage feedback loops.
o Collaborate with MEP, structural, and lighting teams for integrated solutions.

• Salon & Restaurant Expertise

o Apply knowledge of salon ergonomics, lighting for beauty services, and customer flow.
o Design restaurant layouts that optimize seating, kitchen access, and ambiance.
o Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design with at least 3 years in site supervision.
• Portfolio showcasing completed salon and restaurant projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E selection.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and permit processes.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
