Interior Designer

Job Description

We're looking for a creative and passionate Interior Designer to join our growing team. As a key member of our design studio, you'll be responsible for transforming indoor spaces into functional, safe, and beautiful environments. You'll work closely with clients from the initial concept to project completion, ensuring their vision is brought to life while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, and develop design concepts that align with their vision.
• Design Development: Create design plans, 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, and detailed drawings using industry-standard software.
• Sourcing and Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor.
• Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors, architects, and vendors.
• On-site Supervision: Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure the design is being executed to the highest standards.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction plans meet building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 OR 2 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. A keen eye for detail and strong visualization abilities are essential.
• Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of work from concept to completion.
