Duties
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that align with client needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Prepare specifications for lighting, materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures by applying color theory and lighting design principles.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently through effective project management practices.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of design plans during renovation or remodeling projects.
- Produce detailed drafting documents and construction drawings utilizing CAD tools like Bluebeam and Revit.
- Assist in sourcing lighting solutions by leveraging lighting sales knowledge and understanding of lighting specifications for various environments.
- Review contracts, proposals, and scope of work to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and address any onsite issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing residential or commercial projects involving renovation or remodeling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Bluebeam, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max (3ds <PERSON>), and other drafting or rendering tools.
- Solid understanding of interior design principles such as space planning, color theory, lighting design, and materials selection.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of construction processes, contracts management, budgeting practices, and vendor relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to present ideas clearly and negotiate solutions confidently.
- Familiarity with lighting sales techniques and the ability to specify appropriate lighting fixtures for diverse environments is a plus. Join our team where creativity meets precision! Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
