Interior Designer - Real Estate

Job Description

• Engage with clients to understand functional requirements, aesthetic preferences, project scope, and budget objectives.
• Translate client briefs into creative interior design concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and practicality.
• Develop comprehensive design presentations including concept narratives, mood boards, material boards, and preliminary layouts.
• Work closely with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure coordinated design development.
• Evaluate space planning and zoning to maximize efficiency, comfort, and visual harmony.
• Produce detailed construction drawings, specifications, and 3D visualizations to support design intent and execution.
• Support project budgeting, material selection, and value engineering exercises where required.
• Coordinate procurement of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and décor items in accordance with approved designs.
• Conduct regular site visits to review progress, ensure quality of workmanship, and resolve design-related site issues.
• Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables to meet agreed milestones.
• Participate in client reviews, final inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Research and integrate current design trends, sustainable practices, and innovative materials into project proposals.
• Provide ongoing design support and coordination as directed by senior management.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design projects.
• Strong design sensibility with proven ability in space planning, material selection, and detailing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar).
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional design documentation and presentations.
• Knowledge of applicable interior design standards, building codes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills for effective client and team interaction.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
