Interior Designer - Real Estate Development

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to lead the interior design scope of our 40-floor under-construction commercial and residential tower in JVC, Dubai. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in design execution from concept to handover, with deep technical expertise in material selection, vendor coordination, and BOQ preparation. Experience working in fastpaced Dubai real estate development projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior Design Management to oversee the full interior design process from concept to final handover, ensuring design consistency, functionality, and alignment with project goals.
• Coordination & Integration to liaise with project managers, consultants, and site teams, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of interior design elements.
• Material Selection & Vendor Management for lead material selection through factory visits and sourcing trips. Coordinate with suppliers based on BOQ, quality standards and lead times. Review and validate samples and mock ups.
• Technical Documentation & Compliance to prepare detailed material schedules, joinery drawings, and specifications in accordance with Dubai regulations and authority requirements. Support DLD related documentation for technical compliance and handover.
• Site Supervision & Quality Control to supervise on site implementation of interior works, conducting regular inspections to ensure quality, adherence to design intent, and timely execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design within the UAE, with at least 1-2 full-cycle high-rise projects delivered.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, procurement workflows, and vendor engagement.
• Excellent knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and technical details.
• Proficiency in Designing softwares and MS Office.
• Ability to make informed material decisions during vendor and showroom visits.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), DLD, Trakhees, and other authority requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
