Interior Designer (Retail Shops)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of architectural and interior design drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop.
• ⁠Support the design team in producing technical drawings and reviewing shop drawings submitted by suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with, site engineers, suppliers, and contractors on design-related matters to ensure alignment and timely implementation.
• ⁠Track and document design changes, ensuring timely communication and integration into project documentation.
• ⁠Assist the Design Lead and Civil Engineer in resolving on-site design concerns and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution.
• ⁠Aid in the preparation of material selections, mood boards, and presentations for management approval.
• ⁠Provide support in procurement by assisting with material take-offs, specifications, and supplier coordination.
• ⁠Maintain organized records of design deliverables, revisions, and approvals to support project timelines and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in drafting, preferably in interior fit-out of retail shops.
• Proficiency in using software's like (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of design principles and technical drawing standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
