Interior Designer - Technical

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to develop project concepts based on market research/design trends.
• Must have creative concept skills. Ability to hand-sketch/render concepts, develop design narratives, develop inspirational imagery, develop FF&E conceptual inspirations and planning.
• Research and inform the project team of the customer market by researching the current/future industry trends and styles – aka “cool hunting”.
• Must have some knowledge of branding as it relates to interior design identity by developing design concepts based on market trends/ positioning and project programming.

Qualifications

· Must be proficient with Photoshop, Sketch Up, In-Design, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applicable graphic software programs.

• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

· To be adept at multi-tasking, with good organizational skills as well as a highly developed sense of design.
