World of Art Contracting LLC is a premier interior fit-out firm in Dubai. We specialize in luxury residential and commercial projects where precision and high-end finishes are paramount. We are looking for a highly skilled Draftsman who can translate complex design concepts into flawless technical shop drawings.

Job Summary

The Senior Draftsman will be responsible for producing comprehensive shop drawing packages for site execution and authority approvals. You will work closely with the Site Engineer and Project Manager to ensure all drawings are coordinated with MEP, structural elements, and joinery details.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Drawing Production: Create detailed 2D/3D shop drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), elevations, and sections.
• Joinery Detailing: Produce high-precision production drawings for bespoke furniture, cabinets, and millwork, including material call-outs and joinery details.
• MEP Coordination: Overlay MEP drawings (HVAC, Firefighting, Electrical) onto architectural layouts to identify and resolve "clashes" before they reach the site.
• Authority Submissions: Prepare drawing sets according to the specific standards of Dubai Municipality (DM), Civil Defense (DCD), Trakhees, and Concordia.
• As-Built Drawings: Update drawings post-execution to reflect on-site changes for final project handover.
• Material Take-off: Assist the team in extracting accurate quantities from drawings for the BOQ and procurement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5–8 years of experience in the Fit-out industry. (Experience in luxury residential or hotel projects is a must).
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D). Knowledge of Revit (BIM), 3ds Max, or SketchUp is a significant advantage.
• Fit-out Knowledge: Deep understanding of interior construction details (shadow gaps, marble dry-laying, acoustic partitions, etc.).
• Speed & Accuracy: Ability to produce high-quality drawing sets under tight deadlines without compromising on detail.
• Communication: Ability to read and interpret design intent from architects and translate it into buildable technical sets.
