Intern/Aide

Summary

The Intern/Aide will be introduced do basic research techniques and biomedical methods, as well as biomedical imaging and basic image analysis methods.

Job Duties

• Performs entry level administrative or laboratory duties.
• Observes tasks related to field of study or career interest.
• Works with other laboratory members to assist them with simple biomedical experiments and record keeping.
• Attends weekly laboratory meetings.
• Trains in laboratory safety.
• Learns proper record keeping and laboratory ethics.
• Assists with special projects/programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must graduate from high school by the time of the start of the internship.
• Accepted to an undergraduate program in a STEM field.
