Inventory Manager

Position: Restaurant Inventory Manager

Location: On-Site, Akkarai

Working Hours: 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Executive to oversee and streamline our inventory operations. This role involves managing stock levels, coordinating procurement and logistics, tracking inventory movements, and maintaining accurate records across all inventory systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with inventory or warehouse management software, and a proactive approach to minimizing stock discrepancies, losses, or delays.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control

• Monitor and manage stock levels in store and restaurants
• Maintain real-time inventory records in software and physical registers
• Perform regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system data
• Identify slow-moving, dead, or excess inventory and escalate for action

Procurement & Logistics Coordination

• Raise purchase orders and track incoming shipments or deliveries
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement
• Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), delivery challans, and invoices
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and categorization of inventory

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inventory logs, inward/outward registers, and damage/loss records
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports for management review
• Assist in forecasting demand and setting reorder levels
• Coordinate with accounts for inventory-related billing and stock valuation

System & Process Management

• Use inventory/ERP software (e.g., Zoho Inventory, Tally, SAP, etc.) to manage operations
• Implement stock management best practices and SOPs
• Track and improve inventory turnover and order accuracy metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Experience with inventory/ERP software (Zoho, Tally, Marg, SAP, etc.)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
