Job Summary

The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing and controlling inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient supply flow, and compliance with company standards. This role plays a key part in forecasting demand, coordinating stock movement, and supporting smooth business operations across all inventory locations in Oman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to maintain optimal stock availability.
  • Coordinate stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and inventory processing activities.
  • Forecast supply and demand requirements to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
  • Track inbound and outbound inventory movements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze purchase reports, pricing reports, supply chain data, and inventory performance reports.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits; investigate and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, pricing, stock levels, and inventory transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and inventory control standards.
  • Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to optimize inventory processes.
  • Support inventory planning for peak periods and special operational requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related role.
  • Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to work extended hours (up to 12-hour shifts) when required, especially during weekly and monthly inventory cycles.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for duty extensions and on-call assignments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Arabic language proficiency is required.
  • Proficiency in cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and inventory auditing.
  • Experience using inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
  • Willingness to work at different locations within Oman as required.
