Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee back-office inventory operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing inventory processes, maintaining accurate stock levels, supervising a team, and improving supply chain efficiency. Strong analytical, leadership, and technical skills are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the complete supply chain process, including logistics, inventory control, and returns.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Analyze demand forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular cycle inventory audits and resolve discrepancies within set timelines.
- Monitor shipments and proactively address supply issues or vendor delays.
- Manage returned merchandise and ensure timely recovery of rebates.
- Handle purchase and return disputes to reduce financial impact.
- Provide real-time support to field teams to ensure seamless sales operations.
- Develop performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare and review reports related to supply chain performance and cost efficiency.
- Support monthly inventory audits and provide insights to management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and generate detailed reports for management.
- Lead, train, and mentor inventory team members.
- Supervise daily inventory activities and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within telecom back-office operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience leading or managing a team.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Age below 30 years.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory or supply chain management.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and reporting tools.
- Understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
- Strong data analysis and demand forecasting skills.
