We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planner to manage, monitor, and forecast inventory levels for workwear, uniforms, and PPE product lines. The role supports both the Sales and Procurement teams by ensuring optimal stock availability, timely replenishments, and accurate visibility of material movements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Track inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment status across product lines.
- Analyze current stock against sales orders, backorders, and forecasted demand to plan procurement schedules.
- Generate periodic reports and stock dashboards to support sales and purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely reordering and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Support the sales team with real-time inventory visibility and stock allocation for key accounts.
- Utilize ERP software to maintain accurate inventory records and support document control.
- Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory, propose corrective actions and ensure movement of this inventory.
- Conduct trend and usage analysis to provide business intelligence insights on demand patterns and procurement performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement of inventory processes and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory planning, stock control, or a similar role in manufacturing or distribution environments (preferably in workwear, uniforms, or PPE sectors).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis functions, trend analysis).
- Experience using ERP systems; training on the company’s specific platform will be provided.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with demand forecasting and inventory optimization methods.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, or quality regulations related to PPE and industrial clothing products.
