Job Title: Order & Inventory Specialist

Pay: $65,000 - 75,000 annually, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order & Inventory Specialist to manage the purchasing and inventory process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and balances accuracy with flexibility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee purchasing, order entry, and reconciliation with vendors
  • Manage and maintain inventory systems to ensure accuracy
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, resolving issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support meal production needs
  • Develop and improve procurement processes, policies, and best practices
  • Ensure accuracy in coding, budgeting, and the entire procurement workflow


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience with order entry and reconciliation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food purchasing or procurement experience
  • Supervisory or team lead experience in purchasing/receiving
  • Customer service or client-facing management experience
  • Experience in high-volume meal production


Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility possible after acclimation)
  • Onsite in San Francisco, potential hybrid after trust is established
  • Background check required
  • Reports directly to Director of Facilities, Procurement & Business Operations
  • Open to contract-to-hire or direct hire
