Purpose of Role

Lead and execute investor relations and capital markets communications activities for clients in

Saudi Arabia, acting as the interface between the company (or client) and investors, analysts,

regulators, media and broader financial stakeholders. You will support strategy development,

narrative creation, financial communication and market engagement, tailored to the

local/regional market.


Key Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to senior management (C-Suite) on investor relations strategy,

capital markets messaging, earnings, disclosures, regulatory communications and

investor sentiment.

• Develop and implement IR strategies that align business drivers with the capital markets,

taking into account Saudi/ GCC equity markets, institutional and retail investor

audiences, regulatory environment, and sector/market dynamics.

• Prepare and review investor-facing communications materials: earnings announcements,

investor presentations, Q&A documents, conference call scripts, IR websites, press

releases, talking points for analyst/investor meetings.

• Support scheduling and execution of investor engagement activities: roadshows,

analyst/investor days, site visits, virtual/in-person meetings, conferences, earnings calls.

• Conduct market and peer analysis: monitor equity analyst coverage, investor perceptions,

share‐register trends, corporate valuation metrics, competitor/sector movements; use

insights to shape IR strategy.

• Build and maintain relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts, institutional

investors, brokers, financial media, regulators, and other key stakeholders in the Saudi

market (and regionally where relevant).

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, corporate communications,

corporate governance, legal, business lines) to gather data, craft narrative, ensure

consistency and compliance.

• Coach/mentor junior IR team members (if applicable), contribute to business or client

growth via new business development support and thought leadership relevant to IR.

• Navigate and advise on regional regulatory and disclosure requirements (e.g., Saudi

Exchange, capital markets rules, investor expectations in KSA) and cultural/market

specific dynamics.


Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA or equivalent financial qualification preferred

• Strong financial acumen: understanding of capital markets, accounting/reporting,

financial modelling, earnings metrics, disclosures, valuations.

• Minimum 8-15 years of relevant experience (ideally in investor relations, sell-side/buy-

side equity research, investment banking, capital markets advisory) — more senior roles

may expect 10+ years.

• Proven ability to craft strategic narrative, translate business strategy into investor

messaging, manage complexity and ambiguity.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferrable)

• Strong relationship‐building skills: ability to engage with senior executives, analysts,

investors and the board; credibility and presence.

• Experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment, comfortable

working across geographies, supporting cross‐border investor activities.

• Strong organisational and project management capability: manage multiple deadlines

(e.g., quarterly earnings), shifting priorities, high-pressured environment.

• Ideally some understanding of the Saudi / GCC market: regulatory frameworks, investor

culture, regional investor base and local market dynamics.

• Leadership and mentoring capability if role involves managing a small team or coaching

more junior IR professionals.


Preferred / Nice to Have

• Prior experience in the Middle East (ideally Saudi Arabia) in IR, communications or

capital markets-facing role.

• Agency-side experience (advisory/consulting) or corporate side IR

• Experience with investor relations for large public companies, or clientele working across

Saudi exchanges and regional markets.

• Experience in sectors relevant to Saudi Arabia’s economy (e.g., energy, infrastructure,

financial services, tech) or working with institutional investors in the region.

• Certification or professional membership in investor relations or capital markets (e.g., IR

Society, CMA Member)
