Investment Banking Manager

Job Purpose:

The Investment Manager leads the financial and operating oversight of a high-value real estate portfolio (EGP 40–50 Bn). Acting as the primary liaison between third-party investors and the organization, this role ensures portfolio targets are met through advanced modeling, strategic risk mitigation, and disciplined reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Monitor a diversified real estate portfolio (EGP 200 Bn+ revenue target) against business plans and contractual obligations.
  • Asset Optimization: Identify value-enhancement opportunities and drive performance initiatives across all assets.
  • Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for new investments and identify potential risks.
  • Advanced Analysis: Create and maintain sensitivity and scenario models (e.g., interest rate hikes, revenue declines) to project IRR and cash flow.
  • Reporting Discipline: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports regarding debt servicing and equity needs.
  • Daily Accountability: Submit consistent daily activity summaries and progress reports to ensure total transparency on task evolution.
  • Executive Dashboards: Develop KPI summary sheets to facilitate rapid, data-driven decision-making for senior leadership.
  • Internal/External Liaison: Serve as the "key person" and main point of contact for banks, investors, and internal departments.
  • Executive Presentation: Present "red flag" reports and value-unlocking ideas directly to the Department Head and CEO.
  • Hiring Pipeline Integration: For relevant recruitment projects, ensure that once a caliber has completed all interview stages, they are added immediately to the CEO review list for final approval.
  • Contractual Mastery: Interpret Asset Management and Sale Agreements; provide guidance to other departments based on legal obligations.
  • Governance: Ensure all investment activities and hiring requests strictly align with internal approval frameworks.


Candidate Profile:

Experience

  • Expertise: 8–12 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Bank Corporate Credit.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills are mandatory.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to deal with stakeholders; must be comfortable and effective in high-stakes meetings.

Personal Attributes

  • A self-starter who shows high initiative and a willingness to master the mechanics of complex deals quickly.
  • Must be highly disciplined regarding reporting cadences and administrative follow-ups.
  • Strong work ethics and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
