We are looking for an " Investments and Business Development Manager” to take part in Şişecam Headquarters – Strategy Function in Tuzla / Istanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial/Management Engineering
• MBA or Master's Degree in Finance or in related areas would be an asset
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting or related fields
• Strong strategic thinking, financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation skills
• Proven project and people management skills, with the ability to lead multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality results on time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset and attention to detail in complex business cases.
• Adaptable and fast learner, capable of working independently or in teams within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills both in Turkish and English
• Strong working knowledge in MS Office applications

Job Description

• Leading investment specialist and business case specific multi-functional project teams efficiently
• Managing end-to-end feasibility studies of all strategic investments (new business areas, greenfield, brownfield investments, M&As) from idea stage to decision stage by working on a project-based approach and by leading a cross-functional team from relevant functions at Şişecam and other stakeholders
• Building financial valuation models, customizing them for each specific business case and reporting in a feasibility business case report for top management
• Working on location selection studies for greenfield/brownfield projects in collaboration with investment promotion agencies of target countries/regions
• Researching and evaluating opportunities for organic and inorganic growth in line with Şişecam’s growth strategy, helping create both the corporate strategy & investment strategy of the company and carrying out studies and preparing reports that will enable thorough decision-making
• Creating business models for new business areas, evaluating new business opportunities, conducting studies with investment banks
• Managing acquisition, merger, and divestiture projects by working on all phases of the transaction process from origination, deal structuring, negotiation, documentation
• Coordinating and managing due diligence processes within M&A projects
• Managing post-merger integration projects
• Making postmortem analyzes of strategic investments, carrying out analyzes and studies that will improve investment management processes within Şişecam
