Irrigation System Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair irrigation systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently
• Adjust sprinkler heads and nozzles for optimal water distribution
• Program and maintain irrigation controllers
• Perform system inspections and seasonal maintenance (start-ups/winterizations)
• Dig trenches and install piping, wiring, and system components
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers on job sites

Qualifications

• Previous experience in irrigation, landscaping, or a related field preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, or electrical components is a plus
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift, dig, and perform manual labor throughout the day
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
• Must read and speak fluent English
