IS EPIC- HIM Analyst

The Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst will have a familiarity of the facility processes that fall under HIM. This includes Chart Tracking, Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, Coding, Transcription and Scanning workflows. The analyst will have a good knowledge of confidentiality and privacy guidelines. This analyst will design, develop, implementation, manage, test, train, and support information systems and various applications. The analyst will demonstrate ability to review, analyze, and provide resolution or recommendations for complex issues.

High School Diploma/GED Required

Associates/Bachelor's Degree Preferred

HIM or Coding Certification Required

3+ years experience in track chart tracking, release of information deficiency tracking, transcription and scanning workflows required or 3+ years of applicable experience with support of HIM Systems.

EPIC Certification will be required in the time frame as determined by the Chief Information Officer.
