Job Summary
The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the entire IT infrastructure across multiple business units within the group. This includes networking, cloud and on-premise systems, cybersecurity, user support, and security surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server and network management, cloud environments, basic CCTV systems, and data security, and preferably hold CCNA or CCNP certification.
Key Responsibilities
Network & System Administration
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, switches, routers (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
- Administer servers (Windows Server, Linux), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file sharing
- Manage email systems Microsoft 365 and VPN access for remote users.
Cloud & Data Management
- Oversee cloud infrastructure Azure in particular backups, and storage
- Implement and monitor data backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Manage permissions, user access controls, and secure data sharing
Security Systems & Surveillance
- Install and maintain CCTV systems and DVR/NVR setups
- Coordinate with vendors for CCTV installation, expansion, or troubleshooting
- Support access control systems (RFID, biometric, etc.)
Cybersecurity
- Monitor and mitigate cybersecurity threats, ensure antivirus/firewall protection
- Conduct regular vulnerability checks and security audits
- Ensure compliance with internal IT and data protection policies
Technical Support
- Provide Level 1–3 support to users across all departments
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Train staff on IT systems and cybersecurity awareness
Documentation & Asset Management
- Maintain updated records of IT inventory and licenses
- Prepare regular system reports and IT incident logs
- Assist in budgeting for hardware/software procurement and upgrades
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – preferred
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) – preferred
- Additional certifications in Microsoft, CompTIA, or cybersecurity are a plus
Experience
- 3–5 years of IT administration experience, ideally in a trading or multi-branch business
- Hands-on experience with networking, cloud, security systems, and CCTV
- Experience with ERP or trading software integration is an advantage
Skills
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and server management
- Familiar with CCTV technologies and basic setup/configuration
- Working knowledge of cloud services, cybersecurity, and virtualization tools
- Excellent troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and support multiple business units in a fast-paced environment
