Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on a hybrid role that combines End User Computing (EUC) Subject Matter Expertise with IT Asset Management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-user support environments, with deep technical knowledge of EUC technologies and proven experience in managing IT assets across their lifecycle.
This role is critical in ensuring seamless end-user experience while maintaining optimal control and visibility over IT assets within the organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in EUC support and IT asset management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, M365, SCCM/Intune, VDI, and endpoint security tools.
- Experience with ITAM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, Ivanti).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- ITIL certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End User Computing (EUC):
- Serve as the SME for EUC technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops, and collaboration tools.
- Lead the design, deployment, and support of EUC solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for end-user issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement automation and self-service capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in end-user experience through proactive monitoring and feedback analysis.
- Manage endpoint security, patching, and compliance in coordination with InfoSec teams.
IT Asset Management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory using ITAM tools and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and enforce asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for hardware/software acquisition and renewals.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports and analytics to support budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
