Description


JOB PURPOSE:

To work closely business units to gather and document requirements, ensuring they are translated into actionable IT projects or system enhancements. The role involves supporting the execution of projects within the broader IT-business alignment strategy.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

1. Act as the point of contact for business units for collecting and documenting IT – related requirements , including new projects , system enhancements and disaster recovery needs.

2. Translate business needs into detailed project scopes and work closely with IT teams to facilitate their execution.

3. Assist in the prioritization of projects and enhancements in alignment with IT capacity and business goals.

4. Maintain regular communication with business stakeholders to provide updates on project statuses and resolve any issues or concerns.

5. Prepare detailed documentation for project/enhancement requests, enabling accurate scheduling and resource allocation by IT teams.

6. Help identify and resolve issues that arise during the planning and execution phases, escalating complex issues when necessary.

7. Participate in regular business forums and discussions, representing IT’s interests and ensuring alignment with business initiatives.

8. Collect release specific metrics including those for quality to secure continuous improvement.

9. Monitor the progress of in-flight projects and report on performance metrics to ensure successful and timely delivery.

10. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Day-to-day management

11. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Transformation & Delivery department to ensure continuity of work

Compliance

12. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks


Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s degree of Computer science or its equivalent

 Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience participating with a key role in project management within banking sector

 Knowledge of PMI Methodology, Tools and Techniques

Skills

 Excellent written and oral communications skills

 Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

 Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business/executive summary language

 Highly self-motivated and directed

 Keen attention to detail

 Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

 Excellent understanding of Change and Release management methodologies

 Working knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes
