Job role

The Information Technology Coordinator (IT Coordinator) is responsible for managing and overseeing the information technology needs of the resort, this includes ensuring that all technological aspects are functioning optimally, implementing new IT systems, and providing support to staff members. The IT Coordinator will work closely with different departments to understand their requirements and tailor IT solutions to meet these needs. This role combines technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure supports its business goals effectively.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist the I.T Manager in Duties.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinate IT support and services for staff members.
  • Implement and oversee new software and hardware installations.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess IT needs.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation and procedures.
  • Conduct regular backup operations and test data recovery plans.
  • Provide training and support for technological tools and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Proven experience in an IT management or coordination role.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
  • Proficient in IT systems, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
  • Experience with IT support and helpdesk operations.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
