Strategic & Operational Leadership
Lead IT transformation initiatives and system upgrades.
Manage the ICT budget to ensure cost-effectiveness in licensing, hardware procurement, and telecommunications contracts.
Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers.
Oversee the IT support function and ensure timely issue resolution.
Supervise and mentor ICT technical specialists, ensuring clear KPIs and continuous professional development.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Develop and implement the organization’s cybersecurity strategy.
Work with Security Specialists to maintain a robust cybersecurity posture (ISO 27001 or similar).
Establish and enforce information security policies and standards.
Maintain data privacy and protection protocols.
Report cybersecurity risks and mitigation plans to senior management.
Provide periodic reporting on IT performance, system health, and security posture.
Business Continuity & Infrastructure Management
Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection measures are in place and regularly tested.
Manage ERP, HR systems, Microsoft 365, and all enterprise platforms, including licensing, access, and support.
Oversee the System & Cloud Administrators to ensure hybrid infrastructure is optimized, secure, and backed up.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS, VoIP, and SD‑WAN
Experience in cybersecurity frameworks and risk management
Skilled in ERP and enterprise systems management
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong reporting and documentation capabilities
Certifications preferred: PMP/Prince2, ITIL Foundation, or CISSP
Must be Oman resident
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Experience Requirements:
8–10 years of experience in the ICT/IT field
Experience in managing IT operations, security, cloud, and infrastructure environments is preferred
