IT Expert

The IT Expert will lead the management, maintenance, and advancement of J7 Emporium’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role requires an experienced professional capable of handling multi-departmental IT operations, automating workflows, developing performance dashboards, managing ERP and biometric integrations, and ensuring robust data and network security.He will serve as the technical backbone of the organization — ensuring business continuity, efficiency, and innovation across all departments.

2. Key Responsibilities:

a. Lead day-to-day IT operations, providing technical support for hardware, software, ERP, and network-related issues across all departments.

b. Manage, configure, and maintain all computer systems, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.

c. Administer and monitor LAN/WAN performance, internet connectivity, and ensure high uptime and reliability.

d. Maintain seamless ERP functionality — overseeing user management, troubleshooting, report automation, and integration with attendance and operational modules.

e. Configure and manage biometric attendance systems, ensuring real-time integration with ERP for accurate timekeeping and reporting.

f. Develop and maintain automated dashboards for management to track IT performance, ERP analytics, and operational KPIs.

g. Oversee IT inventory and asset lifecycle — hardware, software licenses, and vendor management — ensuring compliance and documentation.

h. Support server management, backup scheduling, data recovery planning, and implementation of cybersecurity protocols.

i. Implement automation tools to reduce manual workload in data extraction, reporting, and routine system checks.

j. Document all configurations, troubleshooting procedures, SOPs, and system changes for transparency and audit readiness.

k. Supervise and guide the IT support team, ensuring timely resolution of all IT tickets and adherence to IT policies.

l. Liaise with external vendors, ISPs, ERP providers, and service partners for maintenance, AMC renewals, and procurement.

m. Conduct regular training sessions for employees on ERP modules, IT awareness, and cybersecurity practices.

n. Research and recommend new technologies and automation tools to improve IT efficiency and system performance.

o. Provide daily IT status reports and incident summaries to management, ensuring visibility and accountability.

3. Qualifications and Experience:

a. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

b. Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in IT operations, preferably within a corporate or real estate environment.

c. Strong command of Windows and Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and system automation.

d. Proficient in ERP support and integration, especially modules related to HR, Finance, and Operations.

e. Demonstrated experience in dashboard creation (Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar) for management-level reporting.

f. Skilled in managing Active Directory, Office 365, data backup systems, antivirus platforms, and network security controls.

g. Hands-on experience with biometric system configuration, attendance management integration, and API-based connectivity.

h. Familiarity with ITIL-based support frameworks and helpdesk ticketing systems.

i. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, MCSE, or Microsoft Certified Professional are an added advantage.

j. Must exhibit leadership qualities, team management skills, and a proactive attitude toward process improvement.

k. No fresher or less than 4-year experience candidates will be considered.

5. Working Conditions:

a. Office-based role with on-site support responsibilities.

b. May require occasional travel to project sites or after-hours system support.

c. Must ensure business continuity and IT availability during critical operations.
