Summary

Introduction of a new role to provide functional expertise across supply chain, finance, HR and warehouse teams using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for supporting, implementing and maintaining ERP systems to streamline business process.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial requirements and implement them within D365 F&O.
  • Manage and configure financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cash & Bank Management.
  • Support financial period-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in D365 F&O.
  • Work closely with IT and ERP consultants to resolve system issues and enhance financial workflows.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports using Power BI, or other integrated reporting tools.
  • Provide user training and support to finance and accounting staff on D365 F&O functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies within the ERP.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing from a finance perspective.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in finance operations using D365 F&O capabilities.
  • Participates in projects to gather information requirements, to assess on the project tasks.
  • Review the utilization of the system and ensure the business owners are maximizing the potential of the system processes.
  • Provide recommendations of process improvements and code optimizations for existing code base implemented by 3rd party consulting firms
  • Ensure excellent support is provided to all team members.
  • Work closely with operational teams and the ERP team to build best in class reports using PowerBI and external data sources


Requirements

  • 5 years of ERP experience specifically in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Solid understanding of MS D365 F&O architecture, mechanics and functional setup.
  • Functional exposure for Finance and Supply Chain modules
  • Understanding of B2C & B2B order management processes
  • Personal responsibility and accountability
  • Business political maturity
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and creative skills
  • Finance business acumen is a critical requirement.
