Job Purpose:

To support the IT Governance & Strategy function in maintaining oversight of IT governance, compliance, and audit activities. The role ensures proper documentation, tracking, and communication of IT governance matters, while supporting the IT GRC function in driving continual improvement and adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain centralized IT Governance registers, including audit observation trackers, policy compliance records, and management action plans.
  • Track and follow up on internal, external, and regulatory audit action items (e.g., CBUAE, Internal Audit, InfoSec).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly governance dashboards and management presentations summarizing key updates, risks, and action statuses.
  • Record, circulate, and follow up on meeting minutes and action trackers for governance, compliance, and audit-related forums.
  • Support IT GRC in preparing materials for management and committee presentations (e.g., ITSC, Risk Committee).
  • Assist in the review of IT policies, procedures, and SOPs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and international standards (ITIL, ISO, CBUAE).
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for ISO certification initiatives and governance reviews.
  • Support the IT Governance & Strategy management in ad-hoc assignments related to compliance, reporting, and cross-departmental coordination.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT governance, audit coordination, or compliance functions (preferably in a financial institution).
  • Understanding of ITIL, ISO, and CBUAE Technology Risk frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) for data tracking and reporting.
