Position Overview:
The IT System Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our banking systems and IT infrastructure.
This role requires solid technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a strong understanding of banking compliance, data security, and business continuity standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure, ensuring continuous availability of critical banking systems.

Manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.

Monitor system performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement proactive solutions to enhance system reliability.

Configure and secure network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) in line with regulatory and security requirements.

Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery drills, and system audits.

Manage user access controls, permissions, and identity management systems across various banking applications.

Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to ensure systems align with regulatory requirements.

Document system configurations, processes, and change management activities.

Coordinate with external vendors for system upgrades, security patches, and hardware/software procurement.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum
two
years of experience in IT system administration, preferably within the banking or financial sector.

Professional certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, ITIL.
Additional Technical Skills in:

Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux systems.

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management.

Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Network troubleshooting.

Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and support 24/7 mission-critical systems.
