IT Infrastructure Supervisor

Job Purpose :

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure across logistics operations. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of systems that support warehousing, transportation, and supply chain technologies.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks:

• Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, storage systems, and other IT infrastructure components.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, replacing faulty components as necessary
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems supporting logistics operations.
• Oversee LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks across multiple logistics sites.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies.
• Conduct regular testing to ensure readiness in case of system failures.
• Develop, coordinate, and enforce network security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware systems
• Manage relationships with IT service providers, hardware vendors, and software suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, data center migrations, and new site rollouts.
• Prepare reports on infrastructure health, incidents, and improvement plans

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related major.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking solutions, virtualization, cloud platforms and communication devices
• Very good command of English
