IT Intern

Job Summary:

The responsible job title will be working on the Service Desk (Ticketing), taking active calls, and dealing with internal IT issues. The candidate must be fluent in English and comprehend IT concerns.

Basic Job Duties:

Generic Duties:

In addition to specific responsibilities, the role will also be responsible for ensuring:

· Must have extensive knowledge of the help desk.

· Must be able to understand user’s requirements.

· Must have excellent customer service skills.

· Should have in-depth knowledge of IT Data Protection and Security.

· Must have experience with Remote Support Tools.

· Should have knowledge about VOIP services.

· Should have knowledge and understanding about Active Directory.

· Should have an understanding of various email protocols and their configurations.

· Must possess knowledge of IT L1 issues and their resolution.

· Must have basic network understanding and router build up, investigation etc.

· Must have basic skills to troubleshoot printers

· Must have the skill to improvise a solution to a specified problem.

· Must be capable of carrying on any assigned projects efficiently.

· Take part in after-hours events and the 24-hour on-call schedule as needed.

· Take care of hardware and software configuration, testing, and support.

· Should be capable of repairing IT equipment.

· Day to Day reporting to Line Manager.

· Should be able to train staff on new IT Systems.

· Must have hands on experience with Windows OS use (Windows 10 & 11) and troubleshooting

Must be able to manage IT Inventory.

Previous experience:

· 1 to 2 years of experience in IT Support (L1) and an excellent library of IT solutions.

An experience of working for an international or multi-national company.

Education:Bachelor in IT
