IT Intern

About the Role:

The IT Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's technology infrastructure and gaining hands-on experience in various IT functions. Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Experience with common IT tools and software, including Microsoft Office and remote support applications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Previous internship or project experience in an IT support role.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
• Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
• Help monitor system performance and security to ensure reliable IT operations.
• Document technical procedures and contribute to the development of user guides and training materials.
