As an IT Officer at Rentokil Initial, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and providing support to our staff. Your responsibilities will include:

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via IT tickets, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support Windows, Chrome OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and common business applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Create and manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 or external vendors as required.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Monitor IT inventory, including hardware and accessories.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes for staff by preparing IT assets and accounts.
- Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and data security standards.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department, vendors, and other internal departments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in IT support / IT coordination roles.
- Understanding of networking basics, Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and general IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT asset management and vendor coordination.
- Good knowledge of IT support ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English is required.
