Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
IT Operations Support Engineer (UAE National)
to join our growing Technology team. This role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems and services across our Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced digital banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Operations

Provide first and second-level IT support to employees across Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to senior engineers or vendors when required.

Monitor IT systems, applications, and services to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Handle user access management, including onboarding and offboarding procedures
Infrastructure & Systems Management

Support daily operations of the bank’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and endpoint devices.

Perform regular system health checks, software updates, and patch management.

Assist in IT asset lifecycle management: procurement, inventory tracking, and retirement of devices.
Security & Compliance

Ensure adherence to internal IT security policies and regulatory frameworks.

Participate in incident response efforts and assist in implementing corrective and preventive measures.

Support compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations and other relevant standards.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.

Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and standard procedures.

Contribute to IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, automation initiatives, and new technology implementations.
Qualifications & Experience

Nationality: UAE National with a valid Family Book (mandatory)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

Experience:

2–4 years in IT operations, IT support, or a similar technical support role

Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may also be considered

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)

Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and virtualization is a plus
