Job Description

Simplifai IT Qatar is seeking a high-caliber IT Project Director to lead our most ambitious digital transformation initiatives. Based in our state-of-the-art offices at Lusail Marina, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-grade IT projects for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients in the GCC.

In this executive-level role, you will harmonize complex technical requirements with overarching business objectives. We are looking for a leader who can navigate the fast-paced tech landscape of Lusail, managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, and innovative. With a premier compensation of QAR 50,000 per month, this role is for a seasoned professional ready to make a significant impact on Qatar’s digital future.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define the project management framework and governance for all IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with Simplifai IT’s long-term vision.
• Full Lifecycle Oversight: Direct large-scale IT projects from initial discovery and RFP through to deployment and hyper-care.
• Financial Management: Exercise full P&L responsibility for the project portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation and high ROI.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical advisor to C-suite clients and government stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.
• Team Mentorship: Lead and scale a high-performing team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads.
• Risk & Quality Assurance: Implement robust risk mitigation strategies and ensure all deliverables meet international quality standards and cybersecurity protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: PMP, Prince2, or PfMP certification is mandatory. Scrum Master or ITIL certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership or Director-level role managing multi-million QAR projects.
• Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (Azure/AWS), AI integration, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Software (ERP/CRM).
• Location: Based in Lusail Marina, Doha—the smart city heart of Qatar.
