IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in systems and software development for banking customers to lead and deliver technology projects from initiation to closure. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects related to banking applications and software platforms
  
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  
• Coordinate with internal teams (development, QA, infrastructure, security) and external vendors
  
• Manage project budgets, resources, risks, contract management and billing
  
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies
  
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to management
  
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery
  
• Support UAT, deployment, and post-implementation reviews
  
• Apply Agile, Scrum methodologies as appropriate
  
• Mange customer communication
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
  
• Proven experience in banking, financial services, or fintech projects
  
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
  
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, etc.)
  
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus
