IT Service Management Assistant Manager (ITSM)

We are currently seeking an IT Service Management Assistant Manager (ITSM) to join our IT Directorate and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, continuity, and performance of our critical airport systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of critical airport systems (FIDS, CUPPS, BHS, BRS, GOS, Local DCS), ensuring high availability and timely incident resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure the effective management of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and spare parts.
• Lead end-user support activities and ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.
• Monitor network and system performance, proactively managing incidents and ensuring service continuity.
• Lead and develop the IT support team operating in a 24/7 shift environment, ensuring performance, engagement, and operational excellence.
• Track KPIs, prepare regular reports, and contribute to budgeting and asset management processes.
• Ensure compliance with information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate closely with airlines, ground handling companies, and internal stakeholders to support seamless airport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations; experience in aviation or large-scale operations is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and network management.
• Proven experience in team leadership, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Solid understanding of IT service management, incident management, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
