Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime
• Manage computer systems, including desktop and laptop configurations for Windows and macOS operating systems
• Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems, applications like Microsoft Office.
• Maintain and support computer hardware components, including installation, upgrades, and repairs
• Monitor and configure computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures to safeguard data integrity
• Assist with IT infrastructure management by supporting servers, switches, routers, and other network devices
• Use internal ticketing system to log incidents, track resolutions, and communicate effectively with users through platforms like Smartsheets.

Skills

• Strong technical support skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently
• Extensive experience managing computers across various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Proficiency in computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network security protocols
• Knowledge of IT support tools for incident tracking and service management
• Familiarity with desktop support procedures for both Windows and macOS environments
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software troubleshooting issues swiftly while maintaining excellent customer service skills
• Solid understanding of computer hardware components and maintenance practices
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
