Job Summary:

The IT Employee will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to end users, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and ensure data security and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and email setups (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.).
• Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and connectivity problems.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation.
• Support and manage IT projects such as system upgrades, network improvements, or new software implementation.
• Ensure data protection, cybersecurity, and compliance with IT policies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when needed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure, AWS).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Must have computer language experience (python )
