Rock Chip Technology is seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Executive to join our growing team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in IT support operations, including software, hardware, and networking. A valid Qatar driving license is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level IT support to clients and internal users
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Support operating systems (Windows), MS Office, email systems, and common business applications
- Manage basic networking tasks (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi configuration)
- Perform system upgrades, backups, and routine maintenance
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain proper documentation of issues, solutions, and IT assets
- Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers when required
- Provide on-site and off-site support as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in IT Support or a similar role
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers)
- Operating systems (Windows)
- MS Office and common business software
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Professional attitude with customer-service-oriented mindset
