IT Support Associate

Shark Innovation Labs are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Associate to oversee and manage our IT infrastructure across multiple locations.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of networks, servers, and end-user support at various sites. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with teams in different locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching Windows-related hardware and software and help to train the employees on its use.
• Participate in the design and review of new Windows systems, Windows applications deployments and new technology in both workstation.
• Knowledge in WAN/LAN Networks.
• Perform system configuration and solving server / PBX (IP Phones) related issues.
• Advances knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge in WordPress and Html.
• Troubleshooting any reported problems.
• Participate in key process improvements for all Windows and Linux environment throughout the organization.
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
• Applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes. .
• Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
• Adding, removing or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
• Answering technical queries and assisting users.
• Responsibility for security and documenting the configuration of the system.
• Troubleshooting any reported problems.
• System performance tuning.
• Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (an IT certification/diploma will also do).
• Excellent IT, leadership and management skills.
• Must possess excellent communication skills – Written & Verbal (English)
• Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously.
• Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity.
• Any internship or previous experience will have an added advantage.
• Skills like Adobe Photoshop, Hardware, HTML, Troubleshooting
