IT Support Engineer

White Label IT are looking for a person who has genuine care for customers and people in general. The organisation has grown into an international 24/7 helpdesk provider with committed engineers and amazing opportunities to progress.

We are looking at expanding our US operations providing 24/7 helpdesk services to clients across the globe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support engineer to work out of our brand-new Portland satellite location. Within this role it will allow you fantastic opportunities to work for an international company and have dealings between the London and Dubai offices.

We are looking for hungry engineers who love solving problems and embrace a challenge with open arms.

The ideal candidate is someone that has worked within IT for a few years and has had exposure to cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Azure. They have also been permitted to access and administer Windows Server, Active Directory and Networking, but may not have had to delve too deeply into the troubleshooting aspect.

The role will include:

  • Call-taking and immediate fixes (triage)
  • Pre-booked support tickets.
  • Working with forward-thinking engineers and the latest technologies.
  • On-the-job training and support for extra-curricular qualifications (Microsoft, 3CX, CompTIA etc.)
  • Diverse customer-base and solution portfolio.
  • Integration with a fast-paced, international team of people.
  • Excellent, developed roadmap opportunities for clear progression.

Role Specifics:

  • Probation Period: 3 months
  • Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
  • There may be a requirement to work outside of these hours and the successful candidate will need to be flexible around early and late starting times.
  • Office based in Slabtown, Portland
  • Transport: Ideally will have a full driving license.
  • Salary: Dependent on experience but based on a technical roadmap.

  • PC, Mac + Windows Server (2016 – 2022) Administration
  • Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare + Hyper-V)
  • Office 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Teams + SharePoint)
  • Printer Management + Administration
  • General Application Support (Office, Sage etc.)
  • Networking Concepts (DHCP, DNS, IP, NAT etc.)
  • Backup Management + Administration
  • Remote Support Tools
  • Active Directory + Azure AD Administration
  • Basic VoIP Understanding

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
