IT Support Engineer

Job Description

Senior IT Support Engineer manages enterprise infrastructure, resolves technical incidents, supports users, maintains systems, ensures security, improves performance, documents processes, and collaborates with teams delivering reliable IT services daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for enterprise systems infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues efficiently
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations securely
  • Monitor system performance and implement proactive improvements continuously
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls securely
  • Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement support activities
  • Ensure security compliance and perform regular audits periodically.

Skill & Experience

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Linux, networks environments
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and backups management
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP administration tools
  • Excellent communication skills supporting technical and nontechnical users
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks
  • Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages efficiently.

Note: Salary is disbursed in the local currency of the country of employment.
