About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and support the technology infrastructure of our day care surgical center. The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare IT experience, with specific expertise in the Simplex system and a solid understanding of clinical operations, data security, and healthcare compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the center’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and medical systems
• Administer, support, and optimize the Simplex healthcare management system
• Ensure seamless integration between clinical, administrative, and billing systems
• Provide technical support to medical, nursing, and administrative staff
• Monitor system performance, backups, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery protocols
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers
• Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and new technology solutions
• Maintain documentation, policies, and IT procedures
• Support operating room scheduling, EMR workflows, and reporting functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5-6 years of IT management experience, preferably in healthcare or surgical center environments
• Proven hands-on experience with the Simplex system
• Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, hardware & networking, cybersecurity, and database management
• Experience supporting EMR/EHR systems and healthcare applications
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ambulatory/day surgery centers
• Certifications in healthcare IT, networking, or cybersecurity
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and best practices
