THE EVERYDAY HUSTLE:

  • As an IT Support Intern, you will be introduced to the day-to-day operations of a busy IT department.
  • Your primary duties will include answering incoming phone calls and logging support requests into our ticketing system accurately and efficiently.
  • You will have the opportunity to shadow our experienced technicians as they troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, giving you real-world exposure to IT problem-solving and client interaction.
  • You will also be assigned entry-level technical and administrative tasks delegated by senior staff, helping the team operate smoothly and on schedule.
  • General office duties are a regular part of this role, including equipment staging, hardware organization, inventory management, and supporting team members as needed.
  • This position requires occasional off-site errands, including delivering equipment or materials to client locations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and active listening.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to changes and ability to multi-task and take directions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Consistent attendance and timeliness.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Previous internship or related experience
  • IT certifications
  • 1+ year of customer service work experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; an official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Minimum commitment: 16 hours per week.
  • Consistent, pre-established weekly schedule during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • Minimum typing speed of 40+ WPM with strong accuracy for real-time ticket documentation.
  • In-office attendance in Longwood, FL
  • Successful passing of criminal, employment, and motor vehicle background checks.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
This is a structured, rolling three (3) month internship program designed to provide hands-on exposure to help desk operations, technical workflows, and professional IT service delivery. Continuation beyond the initial term may be considered based on performance, availability, and business needs. Due to the competitive nature of this internship and the level of commitment required, attendance is mandatory. Two unexcused absences during the program will result in termination.
