IT Support Officer (24/7 Rotational Shifts)

Job Status: Full Time Onsite

Job Timing: 24/7 Rotational Roster Based

Required Experience: 2-3 Years (Banking Experience Preferred).

Location: Karachi Port, East Wharf, Near Port Grand, Karachi.

-Provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues System Configuration & Maintenance

-Assist employees with IT-related inquiries, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly support.

-Configure, deploy, and maintain user workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

-Troubleshoot basic network issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity problems.

-Maintain detailed records of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.

-Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures across systems and endpoints.

-Guide junior support staff and end-users on system usage, best practices, and basic troubleshooting.

-Respond to basic user inquiries and issues related to hardware, software, and network access.

-Provide initial troubleshooting for common problems, escalating unresolved issues to higher support levels.

-Troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues involving operating systems, business applications, and network connectivity.

-Support users in configuring and resolving intermediate hardware/software issues and network configurations.

Ensure effective administration and discipline for self and team, including adherence to break schedules, attendance, overtime, leave policies, and dress code standards. where applicable.

-Monitor and manage the achievement of individual and team Performance, ensuring accountability and consistent performance where applicable.

-Ensure continuous training and development opportunities for self and direct reports; mentor and assist junior staff as needed.

-Ensure Quality, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance.

-Promote & maintain a culture of self and team motivation, engagement, and happiness.

Required Skills and Experience:

Required experience is 2-3 years

Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT or Equivalent

Understanding of Advanced Hardware & Software Support
