Job Description: We are looking for a Technical & Digital Support Assistant to manage IT systems, digital tools, and workflow automation in our Pakistan office, ensuring smooth day-to-day technical operations and seamless collaboration with our Italy headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & System Support
- Purchase, set up, and maintain computers, peripherals, and accessories.
- Handle system upgrades, antivirus updates, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Maintain an updated inventory of all company hardware and configurations.
- Liaise with vendors for repairs, warranties, and new purchases.
Software & Tool Management
- Search, test, and evaluate open-source or licensed software for engineering use.
- Install and configure software tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, CAD utilities, etc.).
- Troubleshoot installation or performance issues.
- Maintain documentation for installations, versions, and licenses.
Microsoft 365 & Power Automate
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
- Support daily collaboration through SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Develop simple Power Automate workflows to automate internal tasks (notifications, file handling, approvals, etc.).
- Maintain a record of active automation flows and coordinate updates with the Italy team.
Website & Digital Support
- Update company website content (text, images, team updates, job posts, etc.).
- Coordinate with the Italy team or external developers for website changes or improvements.
- Ensure company contact, portfolio, and project pages remain current.
- Support basic LinkedIn or digital posting tasks when required.
Operations & Coordination Support
- Assist in procurement of software, hardware, and online tools.
- Maintain organized digital records of purchases, renewals, and warranties.
- Help with new employee onboarding (system setup, email, and software access).
- Maintain structure and naming consistency on shared drives and SharePoint.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT or technical/digital support.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to find and evaluate open-source software solutions.
- Basic understanding of website management (e.g., WordPress or CMS).
- Good English communication and documentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Hardware, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, SharePoint, or Power Automate.
- Familiarity with CAD environments or license management.
- Basic knowledge of HTML or content updates in WordPress.
